Mormon Bishop Shot to Death: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Visalia, CA

A Mormon Bishop was shot to death, Sunday, at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) in Vasalia, California, police say. The gunman, who killed the Mormon Bishop, was shot and killed in a shootout with responding police officers on the scene of where the gunman directed them.
Details of the shooting

According to a report from CBS News, police say the dead gunman, Kenneth James Ward, 40, who hails from Modesto, casually walked into a service in Vasalia, California. While at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the man inquired about the whereabouts of the spiritual leader of the church.
An un-named person directed him to the church leader, Clay Sannar, a 40 year-old man who was in his office at the time.  There, Sannar was in the process of completing some routine paperwork.
Moments later, Sannar was shot to death by the gunman, who fled the scene.
Ward would later telephone police and confess that he was the fugitive they were looking for, that he was the one who killed the Mormon Bishop at LDS.
He gave them detailed directions on where they could find him, according to Visalia police Chief Colleen Mesta
