Police found 0.8 grams of cocaine in Paris Hilton’s purse during a routine traffic check on Friday in Las Vegas; now it is being reported that they found a tablet of Albuterol as well. At the time, Hilton claimed that the purse was not hers, nor were any of its contents, with the execption of the Albuterol, some rolling papers, and some cash. It was very nice for Paris’ friend to lend her a purse in order to carry the three above-mentioned things; if only her friend would have remembered to take her cocaine out!
Albuterol is a totally legal drug used to treat asthma; Hilton reportedly has aprescription for it. Why then, you ask, is the fact that Paris Hilton has a legitimateprescription for a legitimate asthma problem, news-worthy? As a matter of fact, it is not. For that matter, the cocaine find is probably not much more news-worthy; in fact, I would go so far as to say that nothing Paris Hilton has ever done or ever will do has been, or will be, news-worthy.
The side effects of Albuterol include restlessness, irritability, and nervousness; not the kinds of things people try to induce intentionally in themselves.
